This week’s newsletter is for weekly standard share folks and Week A Every-Other-Week share folks. Please pick up your box at your site on Thursday afternoon during your designated pick-up time and cross your name off the list so we know you got your box.
Week A EOW sites include Farm, RAMC, Portage, and Prairie du Sac.
Week B EOW sites include Reedsburg, LaValle, Lake Delton, WI Dells, Baraboo 8th Avenue, and Baraboo 8th Street.

Howdy members!
What bounty we have to share with y’all! Every tomato on our vines decided this week was their time to shine. The timing is perfect for our first fall farmer’s market this Saturday! See us at the Baraboo Farmer’s Market from 8 am - 12:30 pm. We will go every Saturday through October, although our last date is still pending.
With our first market comes the acrobatics of organizing the pack shed. Space in the coolers is limited, and fitting beans, tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, and watermelons in is quite a puzzle. We are also making sure that our CSA stack is separate from our LFPA stacks from our sale stacks from our… Staring at the numbers for too long makes me feel dizzy sometimes. But a mantra of the farm is “Everyone will get vegetables!” At the end of the day, people are getting great local food and enjoying it too.

Remember that you can always use a mandoline to thinly slice raw beets and add them to your salad. They're so yummy!




Our rainbow chard is planted next to a patch of zinnias, so Monday’s pick was an explosion of color. We harvest cratefuls of chard and then weigh, bunch, and wash in the pack shed.
